How to add a new product into the system

  • Open the ERP in your web browser by clicking the link: https://lockwind.com/test/
  • Login into the ERP with your username and password
  • Click on the input box called Reference Code / GTIN / SKU
  • Scan the product barcode or input it manually, then hit the enter key
  • If the product exists in the system the following will happen:
  • The UUID for the product will be displayed
  • The system will return all of the product information currently in the system.

  • In the case that it doesn't exist yet in the system, then a new record will be created and a new UUID will be assigned

  • You can now edit/update the information in the system as necessary.

  • You can now edit/update the following information about the product:
    1. Brand Name
    2. Description | Product Name
    3. Product Category
    4. Product Description Long
    5. Net Content
    6. Buy Unit
    7. Tag a Wiki URL
    8. Add to favorites
    9. Add to the B2B Favorites List
    10. Tag as a Top Seller
    11. Select a Vendor
    12. Add a retail price
    13. Add a minimum sale price
    14. Add a Sales Tax Rate
    15. Specify current inventory
    16. Add a quantity used
    17. Set a wholesale price
    18. Set a wholesale price
    19. Set a wholesale multiple for purchases
    20. Assign a product shelf location
    21. Specify a minimum age for purchases
    22. Specify a maximum quantity per transaction

Products already in the system must be updated, and cannot be duplicated.
